COOKIES FOR SANTA by Valerie J. Clarizio

COOKIES FOR SANTA by Valerie J. Clarizio (click here for review and voting option)

Maybe it was just too much egg nog?

Detective Nick Spinelli is used to tough assignments, he does work in homicide after all.  When he is handed his latest gig he decides quickly he is not prepared for every situation.  Right now Nick has to help social services.  Nick is not happy until he sees caseworker Shannon O’Hara and realizes there is a positive aspect here.

Too soon when Nick and Shannon on working a case Nick realizes this is the last place he wants to be, dragging up old memories and being politically correct.  Shannon is not pleased with the arrangement either, because she does know how to deal with sensitive situations and Nick is a nightmare at best.  The upside for Shannon is Nick is easy on the eyes but she knows he might do some damage to her heart and warm her right down to her toes.

Trouble starts quickly and moves faster than either expected but together they show everyone what a great pair they are.  This holiday season as Nick and Shannon work side-by-side bringing holiday cheer, everyone will find a warm fire to keep them cozy.

Valerie Clarizio has written a wonderful story with amazing characters and an interesting turn of events you just never see coming.  Christmas is all about surprise and this book shows what happens when you unwrap a great one.

  9. Mary,

Thank you so much for featuring my book on your wonderful blog today and for the awesome review. I really enjoyed reading your visitors comments as well. I couldn't help but smile when I read that there is a real Nick Spinelli out there somewhere. With a name like that, I'm sure he's got to be somebody's hero:)
