SAFE HAVEN by Nicholas Sparks

SAFE HAVEN by Nicholas Sparks

Can we ever find the life we seek?

Katie is running from the past, which she hopes cannot find her.  Katie never suspected her new life would land her right in the path of Alex, a widower and all around nice person.  Katie does not want any man in her life but it is hard to avoid Alex in a small town where everyone knows your business.

Alex and Katie deal with their past, the secrets they keep, and the chance to build a future in perfect Nicholas Sparks’s fashion.  When you write about love, it has to be something you know about and apparently, Mr. Sparks has a master’s degree in relationships.

This story is about hope, rising from the ashes, and most of all believing in yourself and the joy that surrounds you.  Nicholas Sparks always hits every level of well written in each book he writes.

  1. I love his novels. My favorite is The Notebook, but this one sounds really good too. I've seen the trailer for the movie too, and it looks good. Thanks for the review. Stories about rising from the ashes and believing in yourself sound good to me!

  5. I don't think I've read any of Nicholas Sparks books, but this one sounds so interesting. I just put it on my wishlist the other day. May have to wait for it at a Half Price bookstore.
Can we ever find the life we seek? I think that depends on how hard you work for it and the compromises you make along the way.

  6. This sounds like a good book. I think that people can find the life they seek, if they try hard enough, and are prepared to make a few exceptions.
