ONE
GOOD EARL DESERVES A LOVER by Sarah MacLean
The Second Rule of Scoundrels
Does being unique make me less likely to find
love?
Lady Phillipa Marbury knows about everything
written in a book. She is brilliant and
a little life savvy but love has her befuddled but she knows where to go to get
the answers. The mysterious Cross, is
the rumored master of seduction and a magnificent businessman so he could
provide her answers with complicated questions.
What Pippa wants from Cross is to teach her how to be a well-seasoned
lover before her upcoming wedding.
Pippa is engaged to a nice but dull man and
Cross is running from something no one is quite clear about. So will Cross take up the challenge Pippa has
extended to show her how to make love like a seasoned pro? Cross is definitely hesitant but it is better
to keep her beautiful and tempting lips close and show her what she has to look
forward to, with another man.
The problem that arises as it always does
with the overly curious is Pippa moves forward in invading Cross both personally
and professionally. Cross is not sure
which is worse but with Pippa standing there looking so exquisite who cares she
can have the gaming hell he just wants another kiss.
When the challenge for another great book in
this series was issued Sarah MacLean said, bring it on I write like a poetic
genius. That she certainly does.

A book I know I will just love. Such a fabulous title & cover too.

I'm sure I would enjoy this story. Sounds good. I had not ever heard of the name Pippa until Kate married William...it's a cute name, and a fun name for a lead character.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review of Sarah's latest release! I had forgotten that One Good Earl Desevees a Lover was released today and hadn't gotten a chance to pre-order it so now I'll have to wait for that next pay check to come in!
I love Sarah's stories and how she makes you feel like you've met her characters before and isn't it wonderful while we're all looking for something to read while the snow comes down and we need an excuse to just sit back in front of a warm fire and cuddle up with a great book that will give us that "take me away" calgon moment!
Pippa certainly has a unique request - I wonder what she'll think of her lessons!
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't love a story wherein our innocent heroine gets influenced by our rake of a hero and then the hero falls head over heels in love with our heroine. This should be interesting. :D
