MR.
PETTIGREW by L.J. Martin
A Nemesis Series Novel
Everything in life can be summed up with a
quote from Shakespeare
Beau Boone no more than arrives in the town
of Nemesis before he is fighting for his life, again. Recovering from the ravages of the Civil War
all he was looking for was a warm bed and hopefully a job. Beau did not intend to be a hired gun at a
wild saloon but it does pay more than bar keep.
Beau saddles up to Mr. Pettigrew the town’s
self-appointed salvation with a gun and finds himself defending everyone from a
bad attitude housed inside an even worse man.
The fights are fair while the outcomes are less than expected, but Beau
knows he is on the side of right and just.
When the “official” law shows up to question
Beau and Mr. Pettigrew the answers add up to more or less the wrong answers
resulting in a few more gun battles and a lot more blood on the floor of the
saloon.
L.J. Martin writes as if he has lived his
life in the West and relates the details in a well-written and entertaining
story.

Sounds good. I haven't read any of L.J. Martin's books before. Needs to go on the wish list.
