LONG GONE by Marliss Melton

LONG GONE by Marliss Melton

Does the truth set you free, only to tie you up?

After living under the supposed protection of the government for years, Skyler Dulay has had enough of being shuffled around to be kept safe.  She is starting to believe it is the machine put into place that has the problem with security.  She keeps being found.  It was not her fault she had to expose her father’s corruption but it up to her to make sure she stays alive.

One call to Special Agent Drake Donovan, the perfect FBI agent and most amazing man she ever met would put and end to this.  Drake answers her call and comes just in time to prevent any other punishment to Skyler for a crime she did not commit.  Drake had never recovered from the touch of her lips nor her soft caress against his face.  So whatever it takes, he is willing to do, even walk away from his career.  Skyler and Drake fight with everything they have for their lives and the relationship they know they are entitled to.

Marliss Melton writes what she knows, expresses the characters' love, and releases the characters' passions with every word she writes.

  8. The truth does not always set you free. It can lead to more complications. I think that it's best to keep "mum".
