When Izzy went to bed, she never expected to awaken to disgrace. Of course, it felt wonderful...warm hands on her flesh, rough stubbled skin on her cheek. It all seemed some wonderfully wicked dream. Any book that gives me a Rake, is a must read. FALLEN looks fabulous.

One of the first historical romances I ever read was The Pretender which was the first book in Celeste's The Liars Club series. Not only did I read the rest of the books in the series but it was one of the books that started me on the road to love reading historical romance.
ReplyDeleteThe one thing that I've enjoyed over the 10 years since reading it is the thrill I get from all her characters. Even the secondary characters are so fully formed that you'll never forget them! Fortunately she often includes them in her later books and I really enjoy when they get to be a hero in their very own story!
The best thing is that if anyone has missed a book in one of her series they are still available but each one also can also be read and enjoyed even if you haven't read the previous ones!
Anyone who is looking for a new "favorite" author should make a point of checking out her books!
