A dashing con man
Breaking and entering to reclaim her corrupt late father’s ledger comes surprisingly easily to Sophia Darnly. But is it mere coincidence that her misdeed unexpectedly reunites her with Kier, the outlaw lover who abandoned her years ago?
A lady skilled in trickery
Time has not erased Sophia from Kier’s heart, nor tamed her fiery spirit. She boldly insinuates herself into his plans. But Kier is on a mission of revenge, and can’t allow even the woman he once loved to stop him.
A game that could get them both killed.

DECEPTION does look incredible. I always think of the women throughout history. What must the women of medieval times have had to endure? We have a fair idea, but did they strive for something different?
ReplyDeleteI do know that I would not like to live in Medieval times, it was a very rough life.
ReplyDeleteI love reading about Medieval times and how the people lived back then. I don't think I would have liked it except for the gallantry of the gentlemen.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have seen some of the parties and perhaps a competition.
ReplyDeleteI went to the theatre Medieval Times a few years ago and really liked it. It was fun... although a bit expensive!
ReplyDeleteEverything - it's my favorite thing to read. I just completed Defiant and am really looking forward to Deception.
ReplyDeleteI've always been fascinated by the Norman invasion during the medieval era.
ReplyDeleteI am intrigued by how people survived when life could be very tough for them.
ReplyDeleteIt was a hard life. I wouldn't want to have lived then. It's an interesting time to read about though.
ReplyDeleteI've always been drawn to stories set in the Medieval period - probably started with movies like Robin Hood, Ivanhoe & my favorite Prince Valiant.
ReplyDeleteYellow!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYup, you guessed it. I sat in the yellow section at Medieval Times. =)
I love reading about Medieval times, such a romantic time and things were larger than life. What really gets me is the code of honor that men had, where did that go?
I read Kris Kennedy's very first book when it first came out and loved it. My family enjoys visiting Medieval Times whenever we are in Chicago or DC. It is so much fun eating with your hands and the food isn't so bad either. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting that you can eat dinner and watch jousting at the same time.
ReplyDeleteMedieval Times - the historical period - intrigues me because there is a lot that we don't know and it's fun to imagine how people lived and acted in those times. The dinner theater intrigues me because I haven't had a chance to go there and I'd love to participate in a medieval dinner and watch jousting. :D
ReplyDeleteWhat intrigues me about the Medieval period would be the knights!
