We have winners from last week:
- Jeanne M. wins a book choice from my convention stash.
- Raonaid wins Paula Quinn's CONQUERED BY A HIGHLANDER.
Spoiler Alert .....
It's that time of year for Prime Time TV to end the season, some with cliffhangers. My beloved H50 gave fans much to ponder over the summer:
- A very bad gal blew up HPD
- Danno will fight Rachel moving Grace to Vegas
- Chin Ho cradles Malia
- Kono is tossed overboard
- Steve learns "Mom" is Shellburn
Over at NCIS: LA, Callen shoots a very bad guy ... and he is arrested.
On REVENGE, the White Haired Man "strangles" Nolan.
The list goes on. Do you like cliffhangers? Care to share a cliffhanger, past or present, that surprised you? One randomly selected commenter from this week's blogs wins a book choice from my convention stash (no cliffhangers there). This giveaway is open to all readers. Comments are open through Friday, May 25, 10 pm in Hawaii. I'll post the winner on Saturday, May 26.
Mahalo,
Kim in Hawaii

Cliffhangers can be frustrating, but I guess it's what keeps us excited about the show returning in the fall. I'm wondering and hoping that Ducky is okay after collapsing on the beach in NCIS and on Person of Interest I'm worried about Finch.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of cliffhangers. I hate them in books & TV - not much better.
ReplyDeleteI do not mind cliffhangers if they fit. The only one big one I remember is Who shot JR?
ReplyDeleteI don't mind cliffhangers just as long as they bring the show back the next season. But I would rather see storylines wrapped up at the end of the season.
ReplyDeletedont mind with cliffhangers
ReplyDeleteNo, I want to know what happens NOW lol. I realize it serves a purpose to get us hooked but if I've enjoyed the show enough to watch it all year, I don't need a cliffhanger to keep me coming back. That said, Castle was a good one lol.
ReplyDeleteLike Debby posted, I harken back to Who shot JR? That was a very cool cliffhanger. And yes, I do like them. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't really like cliff hangers, I like things to be finished up, but with the knowledge that there will be more adventures to come, much better. Now I have to live in suspense until H5O and NCIS:LA, as well as NCIS, comes back, darn. I liked the NCIS: LA one, I have a theory and I hope I'm right as to how and why the whole shooting scene came about.
ReplyDeleteI'm not fond of extended cliffhangers. I read so many books (don't watch much TV) that I don't always remember the guts of the cliffhanger when it's time to solve the story!
ReplyDeleteCongrats winners!
ReplyDeleteOh the cliffhangers, I both love and hate them. As long as I don't have to wait too long it's ok. But when I am waiting for a book to be released and it is a whole year before the next one?! Can't take it!
I don't like cliffhangers. Who shot JR was a cliffhanger.
ReplyDeleteI hate cliffhangers but I'm a sucker for sure and will always come back! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYes love them, whoo, Wtg winners

Congrats to the winners!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind cliffhangers. Actually, I've come to expect them.
I pretty much like the "cliffhanger" endings on all the NCIS duo-episodes. They do a great job building the tension and then pulling the proverbial rug out from beneath you, forcing you to wait another week for the resolution. GRRR!!!! I love it though, and I record the heck out of NCIS, but never had much time to watch the other shows due to my hectic work schedule at Dish. Something that will definitely help me watch more this summer is the Auto Hop feature on my new DVR. I got the Hopper a few weeks ago, and it has the ability to let you skip commercials on Prime Time recordings viewed the next day. Now I get my shows completed in 40 minutes rather than an hour. Looks like a lot more TV for me this summer!
