Contest Winners for WE 05-13-12

Happy Mother’s Day!  Every woman fulfills that role in her own way and one day a year does not seem like enough but it is all we get.  This one is bittersweet for me with 2 out of 3 of my sons living so far away from me.  I am happy for their success but my heart still breaks when I contemplate it.

My oldest is recovering well from his reconstructive surgery, thank you very much!  My 88 year old mother has been going over every day to make him lunch and while she is there they watch The Price is Right.  I am not sure why she and her grandsons enjoy this show but they all do. Regardless of what our relationship with our mother is the fact that they are the best grandma possible over rides any of my issues.

We are all kidding him now that when he and his grandmother go through security at the airport we are not hanging around since they are both going to get wanded.  My mother and her knee along with my son and his facial pins are going to make the TSA roll their eyes and make them step aside.
