And everyone's a winner with Veterans' Day, Remembrance Day, and Armistice Day. While it is somber, especially as we remember those who have sacrificed, let us appreciate our freedom that these veterans have preserved.
If you see veterans selling "poppies" this week, buy one in memory of those who are not forgotten.

ReplyDeleteWe have Remembrance Day here in Australia on 11 Nov. A minutes silence at 11am. I think it is the same date the world over - which makes sense.
