Aloha to Linda Francis Lee's EMILY AND EINSTEIN

Check out my RWA Recap/Day 5, including pictures from the RWA Awards Ceremony, at this link.

Thanks to Mary for continuing to host me at The Reading Reviewer!  Last week at RWA, I met Linda Francis Lee.   From her bio

Linda Francis Lee is a native Texan now calling New York City home. Linda's writing career began when her article "There Is No Finish Line" was published in her university's quarterly magazine. But she got sidetracked from writing when she started teaching probability and statistics. Later she found her way back to writing, and the Atlanta Journal Constitution called her breakout novel, Blue Waltz, "absolutely stunning."

When Linda isn't writing, she loves to run in Central Park and spend time with her husband, family, and friends. She loves to hear from readers. You can reach her atlfranlee@gmail.com.

I received an autographed copy of EMILY AND EINSTEIN:

He was a man who didn’t deserve a second chance. But he needed one… Emily and her husband Sandy Portman seemed to live a gracious if busy life in an old-world, Upper West Side apartment in the famous Dakota building.  But one night on the way to meet Emily, Sandy dies in a tragic accident.  The funeral isn't even over before Emily learns she is on the verge of being evicted from their apartment.  But worse than the possibility of losing her home, Emily is stunned when she discovers that her marriage was made up of lies.

I am giving away this autographed copy to one randomly selected commenter.  To enter the giveaway,

1.  Leave a comment about your favorite pet - a rescued cat?  pedigree dog?  quiet fish?  I have three rescued cats.
2.  This giveaway is open to all readers.
3.  Comments are open through Saturday, July 9, 10 pm in Dayton.  I'll post the winner on Sunday, July 10.

Mahalo,

Kim in Dayton

  1. My favorite pet is my current cat Harley. She always seems to know when I'm done and she comes over and gives me a cat hug.

  2. I only have a fish right now, but growing up my favorite pet was our dog named Katie. She was a Shepard Collie and had the most beautiful bloomers. :)

  3. I had goldfishes once and I was fasnited with staring at them for hours. They were beautiful to me. I am not a petowner right now, but hoping to be one someday. My love for animals will have to experienced in books. I love all the canines in Kristan Higgins's novels.

  4. I have one cat that I agreed to keep for 3 months while its owner was in the VA hospital. That was a year ago. I guess she is mine now.

  5. I've loved all my cats but I must say that one of the ones I have now is the most affectionate. We have had fish, too, but you can't hug them! lol

  6. We are without a pet right now. Our Igor passed not that long ago, so still not quite ready for another just yet.
