Loving the life of a positive reviewer

 

Next week at this time I will be wining and dining my way through the RWA Conference in New York with my friend Kim Adams of SOS Aloha fame and in fact finishing up my visit at the Grand Central facility.  I will be looking out my hotel window with a view of Times Square trying to absorb it all.  I will not be thinking about anything but books which is heaven on earth for me and talking about these books with the author themselves, asking about the book I have reviewed for them and my thoughts on what I got from their work of art.  The problem is as it always has been - how am I ever going to get the bounty of books home.  I admire the authors I read and review, authors that I have a relationship with and authors that Grand Central has introduced me to.  What I won't be thinking about is what others are saying about them or me or how I should write a review this way or another because this Alpha Lover has been invited to the big dance - have you?  Let me know if you are going to be there so we can grab a meal or drink and talk about how to promote this wonderful industry and support not only the authors but each other.  Take a look and see all the authors I am going to meet and tell me New York is not the place to be next week!
